Doodle is a blog application based on Google App Engine/Python.

My original intention is transport my posts on Discuz! forum and diaries on QZone to Google App Engine as a free blog.
So don't be much hopeful with its features, it just meet my own demand for now.

Performance


The response time is commonly less than 200ms, the average response time is less than 100ms.
The loading time of a new instance is commonly less than 1000ms, the average loading time is about 500ms, the CPU time is about 220ms.
The free daily CPU quotas can support up to about 20,000 page views.

Import data from Discuz! and WordPress.
Import/export data of Doodle.
Generate ATOM feed.
PubSubHubbub.
XML-RPC ping.
Generate sitemap.
Changing theme in config file.
Multi-level Category, tag and friend link.
Mail notification.
Code highlight.
BBCode parse.
Rich text editor.
AJAX form.
Tag cloud.
Article rating.
User-defined URL for article(can including Chinese characters).
Searching. (Need predefined keywords, because no good fulltext search enging for Chinese is available.)
Autoloading next page and comments(by AJAX).
Caching frequently used data and pages.
Available to display and log page response time, datastore response time and datastore access times.
Posting article by email.
User classify and block.
Twitter integration.
Counting feed subscribers.
Counting online visitors.
